On trend and in demand, the Art of Marbling debuts at Surtex

MHS was thrilled with the reaction received for the Art of Marbling by HRJ Studios at this year’s Surtex show.

Manufacturers in categories including fabric, stationery, greeting cards, wall décor, home textiles and even puzzles recognized its unique characteristics, trend-forward direction, and overall appeal. While the patterns are mesmerizing by themselves, the application of icons, verbiage, line drawings and other enhancements make them immediately appropriate for a host of products. HRJ Studios will be busy customizing designs at the request of multiple potential licensees.

"Discussions with many of the manufacturers confirmed they cannot achieve these designs internally and are willing to pay a royalty for our expertise." Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing continues, “With multiple styles of marbling available including chevron, stone, feathering, scallop and nonpareil, as well as hundreds of color combinations, every licensee can have a unique look while still benefiting from the overall trend. This look has vast potential for many of our partners.”

In addition to the Art of Marbling, MHS Licensing also introduced new art brands Jen Montgomery, Jetty Home, Lovitude™ and UTURN Studios as well as new images from their already successful and sought-after art properties during the three day Surtex tradeshow. Collectively these proven art properties generate over $120 million in annual sales through their licensee partners.
