MHS Licensing embraces the Surtex move to February

Surtex in February + NY NOW + NSS = Big Potential

MHS Licensing is expecting big things from the revamped and re-energized 2019 SURTEX, held February 3-5, 2019 at Javits Center in New York City. “We are thrilled to be featuring new artwork from our already successful artists as well as introducing new artists now earlier in the year and to a broader audience,” says Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing.

Many of the creative directors and other key decision makers often lamented that “if Surtex was held earlier, I could impact my manufacturing business even more with new art, new product concepts and new ideas.” Well, Emerald Expositions heard that feedback and reacted by moving the show up to February.

Moving forward both Surtex and the National Stationery Show (NSS) will coincide with NY NOW, the nation’s most premier retail event for home, fashion, lifestyle, handmade and gift products.

“Now that Surtex, and NSS will run alongside NY Now, we are sure to get in front of a whole new range of manufacturers looking for great art and design. Existing and potential licensees will also benefit with more time to react in a timely manner to affect their business due to the earlier show dates.” Segelbaum continues, “We are committing to one of the largest booths this year to ensure those attending understand that we are a leading agency, with proven artists.”

MHS Licensing is one of the nation’s leading licensing and consulting agencies specializing in representing popular artists and advising manufacturers in the search, evaluation and acquisition of new properties and personalities.
