"We are incredibly proud to represent Thomas Kinkade, whose name has become synonymous with iconic art and licensing success," said Marty Segelbaum, President of MHS Licensing. "The Kinkade brand has been a pioneer in art licensing for over three decades, and we are honored that the Kinkade family has entrusted us with this important legacy. Our goal is to elevate the Kinkade brand to new heights by navigating the complexities of licensing in innovative and exciting ways."

Though Thomas Kinkade passed away over a decade ago, the Kinkade Studio continues to create new, Kinkade-inspired paintings, reinvigorating the brand’s licensing opportunities. "We are thrilled to present several new paintings this year, with many more to follow," Segelbaum added. "We are actively engaging with our licensees to explore exciting new themes, and we are eager to share these new artworks with our dedicated partners."

Thomas Kinkade, the Painter of Light™, emphasized simple pleasures and inspirational messages through his art – and the branded products created from that art. From textiles, to collectibles, to music and books, Thom believed that both the ability and the inspiration to create his paintings had been given to him as a gift. His goal as an artist was to touch people of all faiths and to bring peace and joy into their lives through the images he had created.

MHS Licensing looks forward to continuing its work with the Kinkade family and strengthening the impact of the Kinkade brand in the art and licensing worlds.
